I'm sitting here listening to the bootleg recording of Nightwish's Rotterdam concert from back in March of this year, and I'm so close to tears...God, I miss seeing them play. It wasn't so bad when there were at least new videos and pictures popping up every other day or so, but now there's just...nothing. Sure, we have Anette's blog updates, but it feels like the boys have disappeared off the face of the planet (...not a word, Ebony =P) and I miss them! 2011 needs to hurry up and get here already. I can't handle this waiting crap. I almost went insane waiting for Dark Passion Play, and this is almost going to be worth.
...for now, I'll simply drown myself in the albums and old live recordings. It's amazing how hearing the live recordings takes me right back to being pressed up against those barriers, watching Tuomas throw himself into the music, Anette sing her heart out, Emppu and Marco goof around with each other, and Jukka kick the shit out of those drums...

D'awwwwwwww, well I'm going to try and further your collection of bootlegs so you have more material to scour through {e.g. the Rock Werchter videos}. It's going to be a very long year next year but hopefully it speeds up enough to make the album that little bit closer. Besides, you'll get to see Marco again soon, and I'm sure Emppu will do a few of Brother Firetribe things in the meantime, Tuomas will write, Jukka will probably spend the time with his family {I dunno what else he has in the way of musical acts so lol} and Nettan will do her little solo album, not to mention the mass of other bands who can keep you semi-distracted =)
