First day of summer!!!

...and already we've had a barbecue :) I went over to my brother's house today to play some video games and hang out, because I was quite bored sitting around at home alone and he was bored too. I really have to buy a PS3 now, because I'm quite addicted to Little Big Planet. I must have played that game for about 3 hours today. Soooo much fun, and it's so adorable! And then Rick had me play Peggle, which is also very addicting, but that's on the Xbox 360. Of course, we'll have one of those in the house very soon because we're getting one for my dad for his birthday, so I don't need to buy one of those xP

Then we decided that, since Jared's parents were away for the weekend and he had their house all to himself (he's watching his brother's dog and fixing his dad's computer, so he's staying over there for a few days) that we'd "borrow" their backyard and have a barbecue. The weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot, and the boys bought hot dogs, burgers and sausages, so we had plenty of food. We also had some lovely alcoholic beverages to enjoy, and we dragged Dad out since it was Father's Day and he likes to laugh at all of us when we're together. It really was the perfect way to spend the first day of summer ^_^

Now I'm exhausted but in a pretty good mood overall. Hopefully I'll get some sleep again tonight, and then I'm off on Tuesday, so hooray!
