So...$587 later, my car is as good as new again, thank God. I don't get it back until tomorrow, because my mom had to take it today, but at least it's fixed and I don't have to worry about that anymore.
Apparently my cousin was looking through my grandmother's checkbook the other day and saw the money that Granny has let me borrow. She got really pissed off and caused a bunch of shit, but I think it's been taken care of. I don't appreciate the fact that no one was going to tell me about this, though. The only way I found out is because I went to Granny's today to drop off cat food with my mom, and Granny started talking about it. Why do I have to be kept in the dark about things that involve me, even if it's somewhat indirectly? I mean, my cousin has no right to get upset about Granny letting me borrow money because I'm going to pay it back, but if I ran into her or talked to her (I have her on my facebook) and she was acting like a complete bitch, I would have had no idea why. *sighs* Whatever...
And then there's the fact that my brother's ex girlfriend and her son are probably going to be moving in with us for awhile. No, you didn't read that wrong. In fact, let me type it out again. My brother's ex girlfriend, Amber, and her son, Tyler, are probably going to be moving in with us for awhile. Hahaha...oh Lord. Why, you ask? Well, Amber left her boyfriend, Tyler's father, because 1) they were really only together because of Tyler, they don't love each other and 2) Phil (Tyler's father) cheated on her while we were camping a couple weeks ago. She has nowhere to stay because her mother kicked them out, so she's been letting Phil take Tyler and staying with some asshole that she went to high school with (she's fucking him...I know, that's blunt, but true), and now my mom has decided it's a good idea to extend an invitation for them to move into my brother's old room until she can get her shit together. Now, okay...I like Amber, I do. She's a nice girl. And Tyler is a little sweetie, he's so adorable. But to have them living here? I'm not so sure about that...I mean, for one thing, Leslie despises Amber, and Rick won't be allowed to come over here at all if they're living here. Rick still has feelings for Amber, which is a huge mess in and of itself. And then there's the fact that there will be a 3 1/2 year old living in my house...I won't have any free time at all because he's on 24/7, always wanting someone to play with him, etc., and I know that his mother will be here too, but still...*sighs* I don't really know what to do...I have no real say in this, but I'm not going to be very happy if they end up here. It's just going to be completely awkward...
Anyway, time to head to work, I suppose. God I can't wait until tomorrow is over...

*rubs her eyes and wakes herself up*
ReplyDeleteFirst off, it's none of your cousin's business what money you borrow or whatever from your grandmother, so she shouldn't be allowed to get pissy anyway. Secondly, you're right. They should have told you and not kept you in the dark. If you had run into her and she was acting like a total cow, you would have had no clue as to why and that could have made the situation worse.
As for the Amber and Tyler thing, while your mother's gesture is sweet and kind, it really does seem like a bad idea. Like, yeah, I know you like Amber and completely adore Tyler {evident from the zillion pics you sent me of the little cutie ^.^} but having them live there? It just...seems like a bad idea. And like...in Rick's room too? What if Rick wanted to come over with Leslie? It would be painful, awkward and possibly very bitchy. This will probably sound horrible but I truly hope Amber finds somewhere else that her and her son can go for the time being. I hope she sees what we do concerning this particular issue.
