I think the stars have aligned themselves to piss me off today. Seriously. If it's not one thing it's another, and honestly, I'm tired of it. Blah.
First things first, I still have 2 hours of overtime to get rid of in spite of what happened yesterday (which I will probably write about later...maybe...). So, I called this morning to try and get permission to come in an hour late today and get rid of the other hour tomorrow, and I was told to call back at 1pm. It was 11am. They said they didn't have any work in yet. I informed Kathy (assistant supervisor) that I come in at 1:30 anyway, and that I have to leave my house at 1. She went quiet, kinda grumbled, and finally said to come in at 2. Half an hour late. I was like...okay, whatever. She also said to try and leave half an hour early, which I refuse to do because then I lose my 75 cent shift differential for the entire day. So, I give up. Let them yell at me for getting paid for overtime I don't care anymore. I tried, I really did. But I'm not going to keep getting the run around simply because the day crew couldn't do their jobs on Monday and I had to stay for three fucking hours and then get called in an hour early on Tuesday, gaining another hour of overtime, plus not taking dinner breaks at all this week. Fuck 'em.
And then (this is going to sound petty, but whatever...) I log in to Facebook this morning to find that my ex (Krista) has gotten yet another tattoo. What the fuck? This is the third one in three months! And I know she's not working because I talked to her about a month ago and she said that the only thing she does aside from sit around is go to therapy. Hahahah! I work my ass offday in and day out and I can't afford to get a tattoo, yet she's sitting around, probably getting government assistance, and she can afford to get three in such a short time period?! ARGH!!!!! Not to mention that her newest one is fucking ugly and stupid. I mean really, who gets "NO H8" tattooed in giant block letters on their arm? Grrrr....(remind me later, Ebs, and I'll save the picture and show it to you...) I mean, I realize that I'm saving my money to got to Helsinki right now, but even if I wasn't, I wouldn't be able to afford three tattoos and still be able to eat and pay my bills. Oh, but wait. She probably doesn't have to buy her own food because her parents do it for her, and she has no bills because she doesn't have a care and I know she doesn't pay her parents rent or anything. I buy my own food, pay for my car, help my parents with the household bills...*sigh* Whatever. It just rubs me the wrong way.
Anyway...I'll write more later. Gotta get to work. Woot. Woot. *fizzle*

@.@ Whoa...your work payment system sounds a little confusing but I've managed to wrap my head around it and get it. It seems a bit...well, stupid, that they don't realise that if there is overtime for anyone, it means someone isn't pulling their weight. I mean...I think they should have like...the head honcho of the department or a few superiors or whatever supervise for a week or so and see the difference between the night and the day crew. If not *shrugs* You're the one doing the overtime. If you do overtime, you should get paid more. End of story in my opinion. You work your ass off and deserve the rewards that come with that. Fuck everyone else, I say.
ReplyDeleteAs for Krista, that would piss me off too. Like...really badly. Her tattoo sounds pretty hideous too. Why the fuck would you get that on your body anyway?! I mean...ugh...I'm not much for words on people's bodies {only a few tattoos pull it off gorgeously and you know of one that I'm talking about, at least}. Big block lettering never looks nice for anything, especially something artistic. Krista really just sounds like a leech who is doing bugger all and gaining way too many benefits from it. Hell, even *I* pay board from the money that the government sends for me doing a teritary education coarse which also pays for my food and such. I'd love a tattoo, maybe as much as you'd love another, but I know it'll be a while before I can get one yet. That really is bloody irritating that she can get that many tattoos in such a short period of time and, even more annoying, is how ugly that tattoo sounds. If you are going to get a tattoo, make it beautiful and meaningful. Only Scandi people know how to get a good tattoo and wear it well xP You included of course
