I just noticed something...if anyone should randomly run across this blog, they're going to think that my life sucks completely. And even though I won't deny that there are definitely aspects of it that really, really do suck, I do have rare moments of happiness. Sadly, most of those don't make enough of an impact for me to write about them. I suppose I should try, though. I want this to be a true reflection of who I am...
...although, anyone who knows me knows that the darkness inside my soul is what really, truly makes me who I am...*sigh*

You can never have darkness without light. Everyone should know that. Sometimes the dark can be suffocating while other times it can be cool, soft, gentle and more welcoming than the light. But, there is always a balance, hence day and night. I sound like Yoda or an old Sensei talking to his pupils *laughs* But yeah...even if you have a deep darkness to your soul, there are flickers of light. Besides, when there is so much of one thing, it allows you to appreciate and truly marvel at just how beautiful the other is.
